Venue: OX1 area -city centre

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Responsible for: Managers/ Bar/ Sales/ Reception/Food Service Staff & Supervisors

General Manager Core skills & experience:

  • Min 3 years + experience as a GM in a similar environment ( restaurant / bar/ event etc)

  • Ability to manage & lead team ( wet & dry sales)

  • Experience using till program & stock management systems

  • Financial knowledge in an F&B environment

  • Possess a Personal License ( desirable) 


General Manager Duties

  • Full responsibility for the venue

  • Leading the whole team & pushing the business forward

  • Line management of the Sales, Bar, Reception and FOH team

  • Recruiting & training new staff

  • Actively seek to manage and increase the success and profitability of the business

  • Managing wage percentages, creating rotas

  • GP and stock control

  • Leading the whole team & pushing the business forward

  • Training new staff & further supervision

  • Stock control, rotas creation

  • Participating in managerial meetings & co

Sous Chef NW5 London £28- £30k

Position: Sous Chef

Reports to: Head Chef

Type of Position: Full-time, 5-6 days per week ( 45-50hrs p/week/ 2 days off)

New exciting restaurant based in NW5 London seeking a dynamic Sous Chef who is looking to progress professionally with this intimate & busy venue.

The ideal candidate should be open-minded and forward-thinking & most importantly passionate about the food.

The right candidate will work collaboratively alongside the HC & the owners.

It is a fairly hands on position where you should be able to run the kitchen independently & act as a deputy HC during HC absence.

Responsibilities to include: running a kitchen ( with a help of 1/2 commis chefs ) , daily kitchen prep and service , executing menu by following designated recipes,

ensuring quality and consistency, monitoring stock and ordering if required.

Sous Chef Skills required:

  • 3-5 years experience working in a kitchen

  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge

  • Experience as a Sous Chef working independently & running a kitchen in HC absence

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Sous Chef Skills Desirable:

- Formal culinary training desired but not required
