Position: Sous Chef
Reports to: Head Chef
Type of Position: Full-time, 5-6 days per week ( 45-50hrs p/week/ 2 days off)
New exciting restaurant based in NW5 London seeking a dynamic Sous Chef who is looking to progress professionally with this intimate & busy venue.
The ideal candidate should be open-minded and forward-thinking & most importantly passionate about the food.
The right candidate will work collaboratively alongside the HC & the owners.
It is a fairly hands on position where you should be able to run the kitchen independently & act as a deputy HC during HC absence.
Responsibilities to include: running a kitchen ( with a help of 1/2 commis chefs ) , daily kitchen prep and service , executing menu by following designated recipes,
ensuring quality and consistency, monitoring stock and ordering if required.
Sous Chef Skills required:
3-5 years experience working in a kitchen
Extensive food and beverage knowledge
Experience as a Sous Chef working independently & running a kitchen in HC absence
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Sous Chef Skills Desirable:
- Formal culinary training desired but not required

Salary: £28,000.00 to £30,000.00 /year
